Androgenetic Alopecia

Androgenetic alopecia is hair loss in both men and women. In men, this condition also known as male pattern baldness. Over time, the hair line does not have to be formed on a characteristic "M" shape. Hair thins the crown, often leading to partial or complete baldness.
In women, hair thinning on the head, and the hairline does not retreat. Androgenetic alopecia in women rarely leads to total baldness.

PCOS is characterized by hormonal imbalance which can lead to irregular menstruation, acne, excess hair elsewhere on the body , and weight gain.Androgenetic alopecia is a common cause of hair loss in both men and women. Androgenic alopecia can begin as early as a person's teens and risk increases with age; more than 50 percent of men over the age of 50 have some degree of hair loss. In women, hair loss is most likely after menopause.
